The Class
Flour, a rolling pin, and an afternoon to celebrate World Pasta Day.
25 October is World Pasta Day, and there's no more Italian way to mark it than making pasta by hand. Spend the afternoon with chefs Gabriele Franco & Silvana Franze: you'll make the dough together, roll it into sheets and cut it into fettuccine, the way it's done in Italian kitchens every Sunday.
While you work the dough, the chefs cook a simple tomato sugo in the big pan. Then you sit down together and eat the pasta you made, in the heart of Sydney's original Little Italy. It starts with antipasto plates and a welcome glass of wine, there's Italian music throughout, and you go home with the recipe cards and a small gift.
Twelve places only, so it stays hands-on for everyone.
